DEXTER – Cecil C. White Jr., 73, died April 17, 2012, at his home. He was born Aug. 25, 1938, in St. Albans, son of Cecil and Doris (Kimball) White Sr.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, serving two tours. He worked for many years at Guilford Industries textile mill in Guilford, retiring in the early 1980s.
He is survived by three sons, Dale White and his wife, Tina, of Dover-Foxcroft, Cecil White III of Bangor, and Robert White and his wife, Rebecca, of Clinton; four daughters, Robin Carvall of Limington, Edith White of Oklahoma, Roxie Brown and her husband, David, of Linneus, and Pauline White of Ludlow; four brothers, Gerald of Jacksonville, Fla., Stephen of Dexter, Porter of Sangerville and Sheldon of Lewiston; three sisters, Olive Tarr of Wichita Falls, Texas, Carrie Anne Carter of Etna, and Sharon Sissons of Bolivar, N.Y.; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Carroll; and two sisters, Gladys Lombard and Glenise Koprowski.
