READFIELD, Maine — Police say two teenagers chased off Kents Hill School grounds for skateboarding returned a few days later and caused several thousand dollars in damage to three school buses.

Thomas Martha, 18, and Christopher Pelletier, 19, were issued summonses charging each with aggravated criminal mischief. They are scheduled to appear in Kennebec County Superior Court on June 26.

A sheriff’s deputy was called to the private school on Monday and found the three buses vandalized. They had slashed tires, smashed windows and broken lights. Damage was estimated at $7,000.

School officials told police about two skateboarders who had been escorted from the property a few days before.

Police tell the Kennebec Journal that the suspects were tracked down and admitted to what they had done.

  1. 100 years ago these two guys would have been married with kids. They would have worked in the woods, on the railroad, or perhaps in a mill of some kind. 60 hours a week of that and a family would have kept them out of trouble. We’ve made some great strides in the last century!

  2. how immature can ya get..now they have ruined their lives ..im sure the parents are so proud…

  3. little bastards should visit a few combat vets that are still having Occupational Therapy or physical Therapy. have them visit some guys with missing limbs and watch them struggle but never give up.
