DEXTER – Pauline T. Johnson, 86, died April 19, 2012, at Mayo Regional Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft, after a brief illness. She was born Feb. 15, 1926, in Dexter, daughter of Harry and Ruth (Fernald) Johnson.
She graduated from N.H. Fay High School, class of 1944. For many years Pauline worked at Ben Franklin Store, Dexter. She was a lifelong member of Dexter First Baptist Church. After her retirement she made her home at the family farm.
She is survived by two sisters, Phyllis Miles of Northborough, Mass., and Jane Easley and her husband, Richard, of Englewood, Fla., and Dexter; several nieces and nephews; close friends, Kenneth Trafton and his daughter, Daisy Trafton, who owned and operated the farm and cared for Pauline in her later years.
