CORINNA – Stanley G. Leavitt Sr., 81, died April 20, 2012, in Farmington. He was born May 30, 1930, in Corinna, son of Frederick and Ruth (Edgerly) Leavitt.
He worked for Nelson Farms, St. Albans, and for more than 35 years at Irving Tannery. Later in life he worked for Ensign’s Boarding Home, Hartland.
He was predeceased by his wife of more than 51 years, Ruth Nelson Leavitt; sisters, Arlene, Libby, Rita and Joanne; and a son-in-law, Randall Keaten. He is survived by a daughter, Donna Keaten of Farmington; a son, Stanley “Luke” Leavitt Jr. and his wife, Norma, of Sangerville; grandchildren, Tammy and Joel Barker, and Randy and Laura Keaten; great-grandchildren, Jacob Barker, and Rylee, Ryan and Reese Keaten; sisters, Lucille, Joyce, Barbara and Mary Kay; and a very loyal and special companion, his cat, Sissa.
