PEORIA, Ill. – Garth D. Cushman, 61, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012, with his family by his side at his residence. Garth was born in Caribou, to Dana and Ruth Cushman.
He married Rachel Sanborn, in 1972. Garth was the director of Barnabas Center for Peoria Rescue Ministries. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Surviving are his wife, Rachel; daughters, Robin and Ben Bryant, and Jenny and Dave Trout; son, Randy and Cecilia Cushman, all of Peoria, Ill.; four grandchildren, seven brothers and one sister.
