APPLETON, Maine — The chairman of the Board of Selectmen is uncontested thus far in his re-election bid, with an April 27 deadline for candidates to file nomination papers.
Donald Burke has returned his papers for another three-year term on the board.
There are three candidates for a pair of seats on the Appleton School Board. Incumbents Caitlin Harrington and Elizabeth Sullivan and challenger Brady Clark have filed papers for the two three-year seats.
The election is Tuesday, June 12.
