MILFORD, Maine — A transient was arrested Sunday morning after a family fight at a residence on Briar Heights Road, according to a Penobscot County sheriff’s deputy.
Chad Walker, 43, was charged with domestic violence assault, a Class D crime, Deputy Ray Goodspeed said.
He was being held Sunday afternoon on $500 cash bail at the Penobscot County Jail, according to jail personnel.
Deputies were called to the Milford home after Walker allegedly got into an altercation with a male and female relative who live at the residence, Goodspeed said.
Neither of the alleged victims needed medical treatment, he said.
If convicted, Walker faces up to a year in prison and a fine of up to $2,000.
