HERMON, Maine — Two races are shaping up for expiring seats on the town council and school board to be filled by voters in local elections on June 12.
Up for grabs are the expiring town council seats now held by Donna Pulver and Doug Sinclair and the school board positions now held by Shelley Snow and Christopher Patten.
Five residents are seeking the two council posts. They are incumbents Pulver and Sinclair, Alden Brown, Jeanne Jacques and Donald Pelletier.
Seeking school board positions are incumbent Patten, Amanda Emery and Deborah Farnham.

I’m voting for Jeanne. She has volunteered countless hours to the Town and probably saved hundreds of lives through her selfless work with Hermon Rescue over the years. She is compassionate and will take the time to listen to any concerns voiced by residents, as opposed to most of the existing councilors that look out for number 1.
