MILO – Bill Harmon, 63, passed away peacefully May 5, 2012, at a Bangor nursing facility after battling infections and brain cancer.

Bill worked for the Canadian Pacific Railroad for 29 years, and the volunteer fire department and ambulance in Milo. Bill was a past master of the lodge, a Shriner and a member of the American Legion. Bill also served his country that he loved during the Vietnam War.

Bill was predeceased by his parents, Winston and Harriette Harmon; sister, Martha; and brother, Buddy. Bill leaves his wife of 44 years, Marie Harmon; kids, Loretta and Eric, Billy and Michelle, and Sherry and Jason; grandkids, Rachael, Michelle, Aureyana, Reed, Faith, Gracey, Marissa and Noah; brothers and sisters, Ginger, Fred, Donna, Mickey, Kevin, Robin, Debbie and Charlie; along with many nieces and nephews.

The graveside services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at Evergreen Cemetery. A celebration of Bill’s life will be 4 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at Milo Town Hall.
