NEWFIELD, Maine — Maine State Police say two people have died following a crash in Newfield.
Police told WMTW-TV that a car went off Route 11 at about 9:45 p.m. Friday, crashed into a tree and killed both occupants.
The victims have not been identified.

Just take route 11 south for about 5 hours , you can’t miss it. Although if you miss the “welcome to Newfield ” sign you might not notice a town at all ! It’s kind of like the Medway of south western Maine.
Newfield is a beautiful place and home to one of the best museums in New England. My condolences to both families who lost their love ones.
