DIXMONT – Robert Clinton Wade Jr. died May 9, 2012, in the Hospice and Palliative Care Unit at Togus Veterans Affairs Medical Center, due to complications from cancer and emphysema. He was born March 24, 1939, in Bangor, the son of Robert Clinton Wade Sr. and Mary Etta Wade.
Robert was a veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. His hobbies included hunting and fishing.
Surviving are a sister, Ruth McKinney and her husband, Larry, of Searsport; children, Phyllis Mary, LynnMarie, James, Rhonda and Donnie; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and special friends, Eugene and Donna Burgess of Stetson, the Allen’s, Jenny and Beverley. He was predeceased by his parents; a daughter, Theresa Wade; a granddaughter, Autumn Aquino; and a nephew, Scott Wade Brown.
