STANDISH – Grace Priest Fossett, 79, peacefully passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012. She was born May 4, 1933, the daughter of Haller and Alice Priest.
She grew up in West Enfield, graduating from Lee Academy in 1950. Mrs. Fossett worked in Portland and at Bell Telephone Co. as an operator before marrying Chester Fossett, Feb. 28, 1958. She was widowed April 17, 1986.
Grace is survived by her loving son, David; sister, Marcia Ploski; brother-in-law, Eugene Carrier; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home, 24 Shaker Road, Gray, where a funeral will begin immediately after. Committal will be at Lower Gloucester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to The American Lung Association at www.lung.org.
