NAPLES, Fla. – Rena R. Lawfer, formerly of Louisville, Ky., passed away May 11, 2012, at Avow Hospice Center, Naples, Fla. She was born Jan. 19, 1924, in Bangor, the daughter of Manzie I. and Maria Grace Rogers.
She was predeceased by her parents; and siblings, Francesca, Nate, Victoria, Diana and twin sister, Teresa. She is survived by her beloved husband of 70 years, Lawrence P. Lawfer; their three children, Marie Schwab and Matthew Schwab, M.D., Joseph Lawfer and Janie, all of Louisville, Ky., and Manzie Lawfer and Joy Ann of Naples, Fla.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
