BLUE HILL, Maine — The Maine Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting Wednesday evening in Blue Hill to discuss the installation of a roundabout or traffic circle on Tenney Hill.
The roundabout would be built at the intersection of Route 15, Route 172 and Beech Hill Road. The meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Blue Hill town hall on Union Street.
Inquiries regarding the project should be directed to Paul MacDonald, Project Manager II, Maine Department of Transportation, Highway Program, 24 Child Street, 16 State House Station, Augusta 04333-0016.
MacDonald can be reached by telephone at 624-3330 or by email at paul.macdonald@maine.gov.

As someone who lives in Blue Hill no roundabout needed, things are fine the way there are.
The 2 lanes going up the hill, has made a big difference.
As someone who has entered that intersection from Bucksport, it would be an improvement.
I am used to the roundabout in Bangor at the airport and don’t find it difficult.
