VAN BUREN – Ronald L. Michaud, 69, went with the Lord May 19, 2012, at Borderview Manor, Van Buren. He was born Jan. 19, 1943, in Van Buren, son of Lionel and Anna Michaud.
He was the loving husband of Lillian Ann (St. Pierre) Michaud for 50 years. Ronald worked at General Supply Co. for many years. He loved fishing with his dogs, Rosie and Candy, and camping. He was a third degree Knight of Columbus, Council 1635.
He is survived by five children and their spouses: daughters, Jackie and Dale Saucier of Caribou, and Irene Pelletier Holt and Stanley of Connors, New Brunswick; sons, Gilman and Muriel of Lisbon Falls, Alan and Doris of Lewiston, and Scott and Brenda of Van Buren; 10 grandchildren, Audrey, Hannah, Daniel, Travis, Dylan, Amanda, Derek, Alex, Nicholas and Tia; and two great-grandchildren, Remi and Adam Pelletier. He is also survived by two brothers, Patrick and Chanel of Van Buren; and one sister, Rita and Conrad Deschenes of Lewiston. He was predeceased by a son-in-law, Remi Pelletier of Connors, New Brunswick, in 1996; one brother, Philip; and one sister, Jeanine Vick, both of Van Buren.
Services will be held 11 a.m. May 26 at St. Peter-Chanel Catholic Church, where family members will receive condolences 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to P.O. Box 597, Van Buren, ME 04785.
