YORK, Maine — Police say a woman waited in line at a local bank and then robbed it while about a dozen people were in the building.
Police say the woman handed a note to the teller at Kennebunk Savings Bank on Tuesday afternoon and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police would not say what the note said or whether the woman was armed. Detective Sgt. Thomas Cryan tells the Portsmouth Herald that there was no threat of violence.
The woman is described as being in her mid-20s, about 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall and 180 to 200 pounds. Police say she has long brown hair and was wearing glasses, a tan baseball cap, a blue long-sleeved top and matching dark blue pants.

And all this time I thought they said, “Patience is a virgin!” So glad my folks didn’t give me that name. (jk)

She was just being polite. She was taught to wait her turn. Good up bringing?
Good things come to those who wait?
Probably they are stealing to help a neighbor who is past due on their mortgage and cannot wait long enough for the president to bail them out..
More likely to finance a drug addiction.
Really?
No threat of violence? So all she had to do to get the money was hand over a note asking for it? Never knew it could be that easy.
The woman who robbed Bangor Savings(Matisha Pitts ring a bell?) and made her getaway in a taxi had it even easier. Trouble is, she also made it even easier for police to track her because of the dress she was wearing and the fact that she was grotesquely overweight.
This is actually sad. This young woman, who apparently was taught manners, decided that she was so desperate that she had to rob a bank to survive. A young life ruined. It will be interesting when she is caught to hear her defense.
