SKOWHEGAN, Maine — Skowhegan police officers and members of the Maine Warden Service are looking for a Skowhegan man who hasn’t been seen in a week.
Jeff Godin, 42, last was seen at SouthSide Tavern on Waterville Road and Bloomfield’s Cafe on Water Street in Skowhegan. He was caught on surveillance cameras walking alone north on Madison Avenue at 1:03 a.m. Saturday, according to Skowhegan police Sgt. Joel Cummings.
The Maine Warden Service will join the search for Godin on Friday morning. The dam that runs alongside the Margaret Chase Smith Bridge, owned by Florida Light and Power, will be checked on Friday.
Cummings said witness accounts differ as to what Godin was wearing, but most agree he had on a T-shirt, bluejeans and baseball cap.
Cummings said there are no signs of foul play but friends told police it was unusual for Godin to leave his dog alone for such a long time. Cummings also said Officer Ronnie Blodgett plans to work the case on his day off Friday.
Anyone with information about Godin and his possible whereabouts is urged to call the Skowhegan Police Department at 474-6908 or 474-6386.

Might be helpful if there was a pic to pass along? I’m sure the family would provide one to the BDN if they had been asked….
Thanks BDN for getting the pic up so fast after I commented… makes it easier to network a helpline when you have a face to put to the description!!!! :)
We pray for your safe return or if be landing in the Hands of The Lord . A man doesnt leave his beloved Dog like this . Peace My Brother .
why not use dog to find its master?
Hoping for a safe return.
Love and prayers; I know some of the family.
I dont understand why there isnt more news coverage on Jeffs disapperance. I know hes 42 but there should be more coverage he is still somebodys child regardless of his age. I know some of the family and it seems cold…..God bless him and I hope he will be found safe.

God bless him and I hope he will be found safe. I know some of the family and to not have more news coverage just seems so cold. I want the family to know that I am thinking of them.
