BREWER – Anna Marie Mixer, 87, died June 11, 2012, at a Bangor nursing home. She was born Feb. 27, 1925, in Eagle Lake, daughter of Alfred and Lucienne (Viel) Pelletier.

Anna loved being a homemaker for her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and the family reunions. Anna was an avid reader.

Anna is survived by her two sons, William G. and his wife, Glenda Mixer, of Clifton and Brenda, Ariz., and Keith R. and his wife, Cindy Mixer, of Saco; two daughters, Faye and her husband, Peter Gagnon, of Newmarket, N.H., and Sally and her husband, Charles Jamieson, of Oswego, Ill.; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Emmanuel “Mel” Pelletier; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George N. Mixer; four sisters and six brothers.

The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor. Interment will be held at a later date.
