SEARSPORT – Maxine G. Young, 76, died Sunday, June 10, 2012, at Emilio Estates, Corinth, with her loving family by her side. She was born Nov. 25, 1935, in Searsport, to Lester M. and Lillian M. (Seekins) Young.
Maxine loved to watch television, do crafts and play bingo.
She is survived by one sister-in-law, Donna Young; one brother-in-law, Ivan Keniston; many nieces and nephews, as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, Maxine was predeceased by her siblings, Robert Young, Helen Smith, Roy Young, Gertrude Keniston, Evelyn McFarland and Walter Young.
Family and friends will gather for visitation 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 15, at Young Funeral Home, 31 West Main St., Searsport. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16, at Mount Solitude Cemetery, Dickey Hill Road, Monroe, with the Rev. Jinoo Chun officiating.
