STILLWATER – Constance Marilyn Mansur, 75, died June 13, 2012, at home, on her own terms, with her family by her side. She was born Nov. 13, 1936, in Old Town, the daughter of Charles Sylvester and Ethel C. (LeClair) Woods.

Connie attended schools in Old Town and Bangor. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, who enjoyed staying home taking care of her kids and grandkids. Connie was a strong woman and was very giving to others. She loved watching baseball and enjoyed the NY Yankees, especially when they won. Connie’s favorite player was Derek Jeter. She also liked to watch the high school basketball tournaments.

Connie is survived by three daughters, Connie Mansur and Sheila Mansur, both of Stillwater, and Michelle Spencer and her husband, Scott, of Milford; two sons, Scott Mansur and his wife, Brenda, of Greenbush and Terry Mansur of Bangor; six grandchildren, Dustin, James, Matthew, Benjamin, Libby and Jonny; one great-grandson, Jacob; several nieces and nephews; one brother, John Woods of Old Town; one uncle, Sonny LeClair and his wife, Joan, of Augusta; and special friend, Lexi Riendeau. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Charles Mansur; son, James; infant son, Jeffrey; infant daughter, Bonnie; three brothers; and her dog, Andy. The family thanks St. Joseph Hospital; Karen at Sunbury Medical, Orono; and the staff at Gentiva Home Health for the care given to their mother and grandmother during her long illness.

A memorial reception will be held noon-2 p.m. Monday, June 18, at Pine Grove Remembrance Center, 1347 Hammond St., Bangor. Arrangements by Memorial Alternatives, 205 Center St., Bangor.
