HERMON and CALAIS – Marion L. Walls, 88, died June 12, 2012, at a Brewer health care center. She was born Oct. 18, 1923, in Calais, the daughter of Harry and Doris (Moore) Tracy.
Marion graduated from Calais Academy in 1941, and was a dedicated homemaker and caregiver for many years.
Surviving are four children, Jacqueline F. Ouellette of Winthrop, Barbara J. Gaddis of Brewer, Harry A. Hinton and Michael W. Hinton, both of Calais; three grandchildren, Gayle M. Gaddis of New York City, Robert E. Ouellette and Nicole A. Kempton, both of Winthrop; three great-grandchildren, Patrick Ouellette, Benjamin Ouellette and Emily Kempton, all of Winthrop; a half sister, Susan Grant of St. Stephen, New Brunswick; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Shirley Tracy of Brewer. She was predeceased by her parents; and four siblings, George W. Tracy, John E. “Bud” Tracy, Joyce T. Lowell and Harry F. Tracy.
Marion requested that no formal ceremony be held. A private burial will be held at a later date at Calais Cemetery, Calais. Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer.
