HOLDEN and PITTSFIELD – Richard “Rick” K. Peppard passed away peacefully June 15, 2012, at his home in Holden. He was born Feb. 6, 1956, to Richard and Charlene (Bryant) Peppard.
Rick attended school in Troy, and graduated from Maine Central Insitute, Pittsfield. His latest employment was at The Jackson Laboratory, Bar Harbor. He was proud of his accomplishment of 13 years in AA.
He is survived by his parents; brothers, Randall Peppard of Sturbridge, Mass., and Roger Peppard of Pittsfield; sister, Rhonda Frye and husband, Jeremy, of Newport; nephews, Matthew and Tyler; nieces, Melissa, Shannon, Dustyn, and their families. The family thanks staff and doctors of Mount Desert Island Hospital, CancerCare of Brewer and New Hope Hospice of Holden.
Rick requested that no formal services be held. Memorial donations may be sent to New Hope Hospice of Holden.
