SACO, Maine — A local woman was arrested Friday evening after she punched her boyfriend after the pair had been out drinking, according to police.
Suzanne Vanvooren, 57, is facing charges of domestic violence assault and assault, Saco Deputy Chief Jeff Holland said.
Holland said the boyfriend was asleep at the Hilltop Motor Inn, where the couple had been staying, when Vanvooren began to punch him. The man went outside and called police.
Vanvooren was uncooperative with officers when they questioned her, according to Holland.
She was arrested and taken to the York County Jail, where bail was set at $340. The man did not require medical attention.

Was down to the jail last night and saw someone pay 310 and 1,000 for two individuals..Bails dont seem to have any more rhyme nor reason than the sentences the courts give these people. I shake my head everytime i see a case decided or bailed.
