GLENBURN – Paul Owen Clendenning, 64, died June 14, 2012, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Oct. 2, 1947, in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, son of Owen LeRoy and Phyllis Pauline (Hanson) Clendenning.

Paul was a U.S. Navy veteran and employed by Maine Central Railroad as a carman for 20 years.

Surviving are his wife of 42 1/2 years, Karen Ann (Higgins) Clendenning; two daughters, Dodie Lee (Clendenning) Smith and husband, Steven, and Debbie Lee (Clendenning) Bowie and husband, James; one son, “his buddy,” Stephen Wayne Clendenning; five grandchildren, Katie and Abby Smith, Isabelle, Riley and Owen Bowie; two sisters, Sandra Lebrecque and Linda Nelson; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Clendenning; and brother-in-law, Stephen Higgins.
