AUGUSTA — Brig. Gen. Brent M. Boyles, assistant adjutant general for the Maine Army National Guard, has announced promotions to the designated ranks for these Maine Army National Guard members:
• Adam Gaulin, private 2, Northport, Forward Support Company, 133rd Engineer Battalion.
• Jonathan Hayslip, sergeant, Northport, Company B, 3/172D Infantry (Mountain).
• Shawn Murray, sergeant, Jackson, Detachment 1 262nd Engineer Company.
• Wayne Gardiner, staff sergeant, Thorndike, Detachment 1 262nd Engineer Company.
• Justin Middleton, staff sergeant, Searsport, 251st Engineer Company (Sapper).
All were promoted in May.
