SEDGWICK – Nancy Doris Torrey Gale, 46, passed away June 17, 2012, with her family by her side in Sedgwick From skin cancer. She was born Aug. 9, 1965, in Bangor, to Stephen Torrey and Rosemary Piper.
Nancy graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1983 to further her education at University of Maine, Machias until 1987. She moved to New Hampshire where she met and married the love of her life, Raymond Gale. After having three boys, Lance, Joshua, and Bradley, they moved back to her home state where her daughter, Megan was born. Nancy stayed home with her children where she watched, molded, and helped them grow into what they have become today. She enjoyed cooking and gardening when not supporting her children’s hobbies and interests.
Nancy is survived by her mother, father; brother, Russell; sister, Teresa; and her aunt, Charlotte Boyd; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 23 at Blue Hill Congregational Church. All are invited back to the family’s house after to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Gale’s children. Donation fund at any Camden National Bank Branch.
