BUXTON – Eva Hope Rockwell, 90, died June 26, 2012, at D’Youville Pavilion, Lewiston. She was born June 18, 1922, in Dennysville, a daughter of James M. Sr. and Hope Sprague Farley.
She was educated locally and was a 1939 graduate of Calais High School. Eva worked as a licensed practical nurse for a local nursing home. She married Delmont K. Rockwell, Oct. 10, 1950, in Portland, and began raising her family. She returned to work as a sales clerk in 1971 at Benoits at the Maine Mall.
She was predeceased by her husband, Delmont; parents; three sisters, Phyllis Smith, Leah Moore and Lillian Berry; and brother, James M. Farley Jr. Eva is survived by two sons, Richard and wife, Linda, of Buxton and Dennis and wife, Patricia, of Peaks Island; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
