AUBURN, Maine — A Toyota Camry driven by Marie Slue, 65, of New Briton, Conn., (right) smashed into the side of a tractor-trailer (left) Monday afternoon. Auburn police said Slue was traveling northbound in the right-hand lane when she tried to turn into the left-hand lane in an effort to enter the crossover to Washington Street South near Brickyard Circle. She apparently failed to see the tractor-trailer, driven by Jeremy Rose, 36, of Wilton. Slue was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
