WINSLOW, Maine — The State Fire Marshal’s Office has located three suspects in connection with a series of fires caused by homemade bombs this week.
Sgt. Ken Grimes is withholding the suspects’ names because they haven’t been charged, but said it’s likely they won’t be arrested.
“They’ll probably just be summoned to court,” he said. “Some will probably be getting charged in the next week or so.”
Grimes said no injuries or property damage have been reported.
The most recent incident took place Thursday when a device left a scorch mark roughly two inches in diameter in the parking lot of Winslow Junior High School.
Grimes isn’t sure what the suspects’ motive was or what exactly they were attempting to construct.
“We want to make sure the public knows that the behavior has stopped,” he said. “We’re really not sure what they were building yet.”

The other story said 2ft in diameter.

Well, according to anyone who claims the second amendment gives absolute rights to individuals to bear arms and that the government does not have the right to ban assault or automatic weapons – yeah.
Just the same stupid behavior that has been done for generations. Nothing to freak out about – address the behavior and move on.
And why is the federal marshals office interfering with Maines business?
