SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine — Police are looking for a woman who held up the TD Bank on Maine Mall road and got away with cash.
The woman entered the bank around 7 p.m. Thursday, implied that she had a weapon and demanded cash, according to South Portland police Sgt. Steve Webster.
No weapon was shown during the robbery, Webster said.
The suspect left the scene in a white SUV that was parked behind Friendly’s restaurant.
The suspect is described as white or hispanic,approximately 20-25 years of age, 5-foot-2’, medium build and dark hair. She was wearing a Gap hooded sweatshirt and New York Yankees cap at the time of the robbery.
Anyone who has information on the suspect’s whereabouts should contact South Portland police Det. Chris Todd at 799-5511, ext. 7448.
If police catch up with her, will they hint about it being a more severe crime because she hinted she had a weapon?
Where does it say she hinted towards anything? “Implied” and “hinted” are not the same thing. Actually, what was the purpose of your post?
The larger crime is that she had a New York Yankees hat on in Maine.

It rules out the other 3/4 of the young women in Portland.
