WATERVILLE, Maine — A dispute over a girl who was grounded and wasn’t allowed to see her boyfriend led to one teen getting arrested for burglary and assault on Sunday night, according to police.
A teenager allegedly telephoned Angelica Ruest, 18, and asked if Ruest and Ruest’s mother could come pick her up to see her boyfriend, who is Ruest’s brother, according to Deputy Chief Charles Rumsey.
Ruest and her mother, Liza, 46, went to a West River Road apartment in an attempt to pick up a girl, whom Rumsey said wasn’t allowed to leave her house.
“The teen’s guardians had grounded her and didn’t want her to leave,” Rumsey said.
Angelica Ruest forced her way into the residence and allegedly assaulted a pregnant female. Ruest and her mother were then forced out of the apartment by two male occupants and left the scene, Rumsey said.
Police tracked down the mother and daughter, and Angelica Ruest was arrested and charged with Class B felony burglary and a Class D misdemeanor assault charge, Rumsey said.
Liza Ruest was summoned for criminal trespass but not arrested.
Angelica Ruest was booked into the Kennebec County Jail and released on $2,500 unsecured bail. She is due in Kennebec County Superior Court on Aug. 14.
Liza Ruest went to the hospital for treatment of a dog bite, Rumsey said. Nobody else in the apartment was injured.

Was the burglary because she broke into the home? I didn’t read anything about anything getting stolen.
If a suspect forces his/her way into a home, it constitutes as a burglary, whether something is stolen or not.

half of this is incorrect angelicas age is wrong they spelt her moms name wrong but these people and you guys just assume that its all correct dont judge unless you were there to see it
