We all have clothes in our closets that we never wear. Maybe they don’t fit or they’re out of style or you just got tired of them. Regardless, they sit in the closet gathering dust. After a while, we hand them off to family members or donate them to a variety of organizations. But what if we did something a little more creative with our unwanted garments?
The other day while browsing Pinterest, I saw a post about converting old T-shirts into loop scarves, and it got me thinking. How many clothes have I given away when I could’ve transformed them into something new? With that thought in mind, I’d like to know the creative ways that you use your old clothes, and then I’d like to share them with readers and inspire us all to be a bit more inventive.
So let the creativity flow! Experiment with old clothes, and if the result is good, let me know. If you happen to have pictures of your masterpiece, send those along, too.

I transform mine tshirts to rags then I convert them to trash.
Here’s a creative idea : continue to donate them to the Salvation Army , Goodwill or some other non profit where they will be repaired , cleaned and sold to raise money to feed and provide heat for the needy. The one’s in bad repair will be sold off as rags. This is much better than wasting time making some piece of clothing that you won’t wear once you see the poor attempt at recycling you have just performed. A better use of your creativity would be to volunteer at such an organization and help out a neighbor !

Otherwise, I take them to Goodwill, which is where I bought them in the first place.
