ALVINE (BOSSE) SINCLAIR
SINCLAIR – Alvine (Bosse) Sinclair, 97 and 11 months, passed away peacefully July 10, 2012, surrounded by her family at a Frenchville health facility. She was born Aug. 16, 1914, in Ste. Agathe, daughter of the late Honore and Marie (Guerrette) Bosse.
She was crowned Mother of the Year in 1997 and was Golden Cane recipient in 2010.
She is survived by eight sons and their wives, Herman and Lise, Edmund, Robert and Denise, Jerry and Tammy, Terry and Diane, Paul and Lisa, Danny, and Carl and Kim; six daughters, Jeannine, Bernadette, Ann Marie, Rose Marie, Carol and husband, Ned, and Linda and husband, Richard; 30 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Lionel; one son, Philip; six sisters, Marie Chasse, Lillian Guerrette, Catherine Bourgoin, Yvonne Plourde, Lucina Thibeault and Candide Bosse; and four brothers Albert, Donat, Wallace and Joseph.
Friends and relatives may call 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 13, and 8:30 until time of services Saturday, July 14, at Michaud Funeral Home, St. Agatha. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Church, Sinclair, with the Rev. Phil Cyr officiating. Burial will be at St. Agatha Upper Cemetery.
