LEE – Trish M. Chard, wife of Robert E. Chard, passed away July 10, 2012.
Being a well organized and in-charge woman who appreciated brevity, she prepared for this time by writing: “As I depart this life and move on to my next, I am survived by my four sons – Ray, Kevin and John Chickanis and Rob Chard; my grandson and soul mate Caius Chickanis; my granddaughter Jamie Chard, a brother Kevin Killilea and nephew John Patrick Killilea.
To my friends I want to say thank you for the gift of your friendship – you introduced me to the Maine way of accepting.”
Trish was generous with people and organizations she supported. Locally she will be remembered for her work with Silver Spoons delivering meals to elders, donating funds for children’s classics at Lincoln Public Library, and supporting United Methodist Church with her gifts, her presence and her service. Trish touched many lives, sometimes in a public way, but more often privately and/or anonymously. This faithful and devout servant of the Lord will be missed.
