ORLANDO, Fla. — A woman told authorities that when she was a little girl, murder suspect George Zimmerman sexually molested her for a decade, according to prosecution records released Monday.
The woman, identified only as “witness 9,” said the abuse started when she was 6 and ended when she was 16.
That bombshell is part of a new set of evidence just released by Special Prosecutor Angela Corey.
On Monday, Corey released witness 9’s statement plus 120 recorded jail phone calls made by Zimmerman when he was in the Seminole County Jail.
In a statement released several weeks ago, witness 9 told Sanford police that Zimmerman does not like blacks. In the audio-recorded interview released Monday, she reiterated that but without providing specifics.
Witness 9 told prosecutors the molestation began when her parents were moving to another state and she and her sister were sent to stay with Zimmerman’s family in Virginia.
“We would all lay in front of the TV” to watch movies, she said, “and he would reach under the blankets and try to do things. … I would try to push him off, but he was bigger and stronger and older,” she said.
He touched her improperly, she said, and at least once, when she was 12, forced her to touch him.
She and her parents eventually confronted Zimmerman at an Orlando-area restaurant, she said. Zimmerman said he was sorry and left, she said.
The 28-year-old Zimmerman is awaiting trial on a charge of second-degree murder. He killed Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black 17-year-old, Feb. 26. Zimmerman says he killed Trayvon in self-defense after the teenager attacked him. Prosecutors say Zimmerman assumed Trayvon was about to commit a crime, followed him then murdered him.

She was 6 he was 8 when it started..She 16 and he 18 when it ended…Headline just a LITTLE misleading ??Me thinks so…Par for the course in this case…
how do you know how old she is if they haven’t identified her?
If you actually READ the article, you will see that The Orlando Sentinel provided the information.
The article was written by a Stutzman and edited by a Weiner. How balanced of an article do you really think this was going to be? Yeah. You know what I`m talking about…
As in many of these high profile cases, it seems that the skeletons jump out of the closet when there might possibly be some media time available, just as in the Sandusky case when the adopted son finally came forward after the jury was already deliberating. Its frustrating to see this happen because the actual case becomes distorted with inuendos and people trying to get their 15 minutes of fame.
Hey, I would even try to jump on the bandwagon if I was guaranteed a cool million from the civil suit…but then again I am not a total dooshbag.
Unfortunately this is how you win court cases. If you present irrelevant evidence during the case that makes Zimmerman look like a total scumbag, no one will care whether he killed drug dealer/gangbanger Martin or not. They will find him guilty because they think he is a child molester and needs to be locked up.
Zimmerman is not the real issue, folks. We all know that this is a show trial being pushed by liberals to gain voter support for Obama and his gun control laws. Turn off the TV, pick up the phone and call your friends and family to make sure that they vote for a CAPABLE President in 2012.
Hey, there is good news. At least you liberals have until Election Day to decide which side of the Mason-Dixon line you want to live on.
A strong case… as strong as the one Mike Nifong presented against the Duke Lacross players, and remarkably similar in many ways, including the press coverage it has received. Let us hope that justice is done and Special Prosecutor Corey is equally successful, both professionally and personally.
