BANGOR – Scott David Yerxa, 52, passed away July 19, 2012, at his residence. He was born Jan. 8, 1960, the son of Vaughn and June Yerxa.
A lifetime resident of Bangor, Scott graduated from Bangor High School in 1978 and began his long and enjoyable career as a master plumber. Scott was a keen hunter and fisherman, which exemplified his passion for the outdoors, but he will be best remembered as a loving father, brother and son. His kindness, generosity and sense of humor enriched the lives of family, friends and strangers in need.
Scott is survived by his two loving children, Katie Yerxa of Portland and Michael Yerxa of Brewer; his brother, Craig Yerxa; his three sisters, Lisa Yerxa Graham, Donna Yerxa and Lona Yerxa; several nephews and nieces.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call 5-7 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where a memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Monday, July 23.
