I went hiking in the rain last week with a new hiking buddy (to be revealed in tomorrow’s “1-minute hike” video. Because of the rain, we didn’t see much but clouds from the summit of the mountain, so “Where in the woods am I?” will be a bit challenging this week! I will give you some verbal clues to go with the photos.

1. We hiked about 1 mile to the summit of a mountain that is more than 1,000 feet in elevation.

2. The mountain is fairly close to the Bangor area (less than an hour away).

OK, so now you can take a look at the gallery of photos and, if you think you might know where I hiked last week, leave your guess in the comments section below. Winner gets an internet high five. My hiking buddy can’t guess.
