JAY, Maine – An ongoing neighbor dispute, not reported to police in the previous three weeks, escalated into a physical altercation early Sunday with one neighbor hitting the other with a truck.
Tony J. DeMillo, 38, of Davis Road in Jay was arrested Sunday on a charge of misdemeanor reckless conduct, Jay Detective Richard Caton IV said Monday.
A neighbor of DeMillo’s was calling him names, and DeMillo got into his truck, drove over and pulled into the neighbor’s driveway, striking the man with the front of the vehicle, Caton said.
The neighbor, Hank Crockett, was knocked to the ground but declined medical treatment, he said.
Police officer Mike Booker assisted Caton at the scene.
Unbeknownst to police there had been an ongoing dispute between the two for the past few weeks, he said.
DeMillo posted $250 cash bail and was released later Sunday. He is scheduled to appear on Sept. 21 in Farmington District Court.

Like a good neighbor….
Sticks and stones will break your bones, but when none are available a truck will do.
Wasn’t a “DODGE TRUCK” I assume.
You’re supposed to tell your Mommy on people that call you names.
Now children.
“Can’t we all get along? ”

ha ha a misdemeanor, reckless driving that’s it.. ? lol Now this is a joke attempts to run someone over and is slapped on the hand…. what is this world coming to?
Assuming you’re healthy enough to walk and your neighbor is close enough so that you can hear him calling you names, why do you need to drive your truck over?
