PORTSMOUTH, N.H. — Police in Portsmouth, N.H., say they have made three arrests in a prostitution ring they believe may extend from Manchester to Portland, Maine.
The investigation began with complaints about men arriving at a Portsmouth apartment complex in taxicabs and being escorted to a particular apartment by different women for short periods of time. Officers set up surveillance on Thursday night and saw a man climb out of the apartment window holding a condom.
Twenty-two-year-old Jim Parra of Kittery, Maine, and 21-year-old Brooke Parent of Manchester were each charged with prostitution. The apartment’s owner, 38-year-old Alexander Marino was charged with one count of prostitution for allegedly allowing his apartment to be used for prostitution and one count of marijuana possession.

Another story with no pictures. How can we make fun of these fine women with no pictures?

Ya think so? I was wondering what was wrong with me. Must be this small world i’m living in. I’m just cramped for space and I need perfect people like you to put me on my place. How’s tricks anyways?
“Officers set up surveillance on Thursday night and saw a man climb out of the apartment window holding a condom.”
LOL! You can’t make this stuff up.
“Uh Officer, haven’t you ever heard of a water balloon?”
Smart man. He was just taking his potential DNA sample with him so he wouldn’t get blackmailed. Sounds like he has read the book. Wasn’t Bill Clinton was it?
Who was the victim here? I don’t see a victim so there was no crime commited.
If someone forces you into the sex trade and is holding you as a slave, then there is a crime and the pimp should have his/her private parts removed from the inside to the outside, and thats just to start. Stocks in the public square after that, then the sentencing.
Maybe the property owner is the victim.
In a “free country” consenting adults should be allowed to do as they will sexually. Some people can get this service free. Other handsomely-challenged people must pay. This is like charging the handicapped extra to use the wheelchair ramp.
Legalize prostitution, and free up the police for more important duties.
Why don’t those who believe prostitution should be legalalized work to make it so? Laws are made via We The People, they aren’t placed there by some faceless deity.
So how is life there in Wonderland?
Here’s the apartment owner http://m.seacoastonline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20120804/NEWS/120809905&template=wapart
Now thats a good answer!!!
Maybe he was just doing some sort of an unconventional psychological study? Maybe even with a grant from the government…who knows? :)
Just to make it clear, sarcasm is in full effect here.
george constanza?
Some kind of therapy
Sex therapy?
That old galvanized can of Puritan no no’s is having a tougher time in today’s society to be relavant.
A large segment of the population is living just just East of the law, marijuana possession for one,
and others, I wish as a nation we could come to grips, that as a nation we are changing, the times are not the same, nor are they going to be. The police, mostly by he use of stool pigeons, are filling the jails with people, to which fifty percent have not really actually commited a crime. It is like that old 25 mile a hour speed limit sign somewhere, that for years people drive by it at fifty, until a cop decides to park there for a hour or so, and makes some easy preys.
