WATERVILLE, Maine — Police arrested a local man early Wednesday morning after he assaulted his girlfriend during an argument, according to officials.
Armando Weathers, 43, is facing a charge of domestic violence assault after police were called to his Front Court residence around 2:15 a.m., Waterville police Sgt. Alan Main said.
Main said the argument grew heated, prompting Weathers to grab his girlfriend by the arm, which left the victim with a red mark.
The woman was not otherwise injured besides the mark, the sergeant said.
Weathers was booked into the Waterville police station and later released on bail.
