LIMINGTON, Maine — A York County man was arrested during a Thursday night traffic stop when police discovered he had seven outstanding warrants.

Dean Walker, 47, had six warrants for traffic violations and another for a civil contempt order that required him to serve 30 days in jail had he failed to post $10,000 in bail, according to York County Maj. Bill King.

King wouldn’t disclose why Walker was pulled over by deputies.

When Walker was taken to the York County Jail after the traffic stop, he posted the $10,000 bail along with $930 for the six traffic offenses, King said in a statement.

Walker is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 27 for the six traffic offenses, King said. A court date for the contempt charge is pending.

        1. He’ll get it ALL back if he shows up in court as ordered. Lots of people have $10k just rsting in their pockets.

  1. Wonder how he got that much money in just a few hours?! Think we will be reading about him again in some other news articles in the near future? Prob

  2. Confiscate his vehicle and give it to some charity that needs it.  Seems he used up his driving privileges.
