LIMINGTON, Maine — A York County man was arrested during a Thursday night traffic stop when police discovered he had seven outstanding warrants.
Dean Walker, 47, had six warrants for traffic violations and another for a civil contempt order that required him to serve 30 days in jail had he failed to post $10,000 in bail, according to York County Maj. Bill King.
King wouldn’t disclose why Walker was pulled over by deputies.
When Walker was taken to the York County Jail after the traffic stop, he posted the $10,000 bail along with $930 for the six traffic offenses, King said in a statement.
Walker is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 27 for the six traffic offenses, King said. A court date for the contempt charge is pending.

Sooner or later, the law will catch up with you.
True, but I’m a little impressed that he posted the bail AND paid his fines!
Exactly, How many people can just cough up 10k just like that?
He’ll get it ALL back if he shows up in court as ordered. Lots of people have $10k just rsting in their pockets.
For a failing furnace, or a brocken leg. Not so much bail….
Think he will show up for court? Doubt it.
hmmm whered he get all that money?
You’d be surprised how fast some people can come up with ten large when the other choice is jail.
What a tool.
Wonder how he got that much money in just a few hours?! Think we will be reading about him again in some other news articles in the near future? Prob
So, I guess I don’t understand if he had the money to pay for it, why didn’t he just pay for it when it was due, and not wait until he had to go to jail about it?
Confiscate his vehicle and give it to some charity that needs it. Seems he used up his driving privileges.
