BANGOR – James “Jim” Givren, 83, died Aug. 12, 2012, from congestive heart disease.
Jim was a 1947 graduate of John Bapst High School and a lifelong communicant of St. John’s Catholic Church. The family thanks Hammond Street Senior Center for the fun and companionship they provided to Jim, as well as the Sears Retiree Group who continued to keep Jim in their thoughts and prayers. Many, many thanks also go to all of the staff on the Waterman unit at Ross Manor for their exceptional care and support during Jim’s last year, and to Richard Foss, an exceptional friend, for always being there to land a hand.
