ENGLEWOOD – Frank C. Cassio, 72, passed away Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at Tidewell Hospice, Port Charlotte, Fla., after a lengthy illness. He was born Aug. 12, 1940, in West Enfield.
Frank had been a resident of Charlotte County in Florida for 11 years, coming from West Enfield. Frank worked for Bangor Hydro for 38 years, retiring in 2000. He was a communicant of St. Raphael Catholic Church.
Survivors include his three children, Joyce, Jennifer and Daniel; mother, Janet Cassio of Howland; two sisters, Virginia Ancho of King, N.C., and Jacqueline Santos of Orono; three brothers, Joseph Cassio of Saginaw, Mich., Michael Cassio of King, N.C., and Dwight Cassio of Howland; three grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral Mass will be held at a later date at St. Leo’s Church, Howland, with inurnment afterward. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Frank Cassio to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
