MARS HILL – Gloria J. Spittle, 66, wife of Russell O. Spittle Sr., passed away Friday afternoon, Aug. 17, 2012, at a Mars Hill nursing facility. Friends may call noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, at Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main St., Fort Fairfield, where a funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. with the Rev. Ronald Doughty officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield, at a later date. A time of continued fellowship with refreshments will be held after the funeral service at Veterans of Foreign Wars Paul Lockhart Post No. 6187, Presque Isle Street, Fort Fairfield.
