HOWLAND, Maine — Bangor Hydro customers in Howland and LaGrange are without power Wednesday after an early-morning car accident brought down power lines.
Bangor Hydro Spokeswoman Susan Faloon said crews are on scene attempting to turn power back on. Power is expected to be restored within the next four hours.
Customers in the area are reminded to stay clear of fallen lines, poles or trees touching them.

this wasnt a car accident. cianbro is building a bridge there and putting in poles and wires and a boom truck knocked down some poles and wires causing power outage. and yes one car did have wires on her car and had to sit inside for a while to clear live wires before exiting. bridge has been closed off to traffic while mess is cleared up.
