BANGOR, Maine — A Bangor man was arrested last week on a felony operating under the influence charge after he drove into a curb in front of 6 State St., causing significant damage to his car.

The drunk driving charge against Ronald Brown, 51, was elevated to Class C felony status because he had two prior OUI convictions on his driving record, Bangor police Sgt. Paul Edwards said Wednesday, citing a police report.

The arrest occurred about 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday of last week, Edwards said. Damage to Brown’s car included a dented front passenger side rim and a flat tire, he said.

  1. Oh poor thing, probably had a rough childhood, parents wouldn’t buy him a pony because they had a two bedroom apartment. Go easy on him a little spanky on the bum and a promise not to do it again,
should be good to go. And next time no spanky.
