Alex, Please bring the real “Big Time ” Rush to the waterfront. They are in Manch next week and Boston in Oct. Still time for one more show! Thanks for the consideration. See you at Journey!
Yeah, Rush would keep the summer going. Good choice Steve. I am sure they hear you. Section 3 seats at Journey, Pat Benatar and Loverboy. I’ll be there (of course).
Ill be right next you in section 3. Bring the beer
There will be a lot of hoarse girls in the Bangor area the next couple of days :o)
Pretty huge production. The audience was one of the loudest and most excited yet. :) It was good to see thousands of screaming kids, excited about their idols LIVE onstage. It was a great night for the young ones (and old ones… BTR ROCKS he he he). Now to the front of the stage for Keith Urban (wife is smiling). And then… the biggest ticketed event of the year. WFC, keep rockin’ Bangor.
Did not buy tickets to this one, but stood outside and got a great view of it. My daughter went, i just didnt think big time rush was my type lol
There will also, as usual, be a lot of horse girls in the Bangor area the next couple of days.
You’re bad.. he he. Heading there..
Now that’s what I call a successful concert. How is it that this concert was able to provide good, hearable music, without the decibel level being so high it could be heard a mile away? Looks to me as though Gray has done the impossible: he told the council last year that he couldn’t insist on the decibel level limitations, because the performers wouldn’t come. Well, they came, they apparently voluntarily restrained the decibels, and the concert was a huge success. The audience also went home without a case of bad tinnitus! And the neighborhood could stay home without ear plugs. So it CAN be done!
It was a great concert, and my little one had a ball. They put on a really good show, interacted with the audience (4 lucky gals got to go onstage with them), and had great pyrotechnics and even a trampoline onstage. They drew a huge audience and the only thing deafening was the screaming of preadolescent and teenage girls! LOL
I’m not sure where you are, but over here in South Brewer this was the loudest concert yet. I could almost hear the words to the songs. I had the windows closed and the fans going on high and it was still annoyingly loud.
Wait until next year. The current plan is to build a new amphitheater that faces away from the City of Bangor (meaning that the speakers are going to be pointed across the river).
I didn’t notice a decibel difference, are you sure? Last season, Reba was the loudest concert yet no complaints. hmmmm….
Noise for the adultolescences…….30 year olds who are still 13….What not have the concerts? waaaaay out in the woods somewhere where working folks aren’t trying to sleep…
I can agree with you RevOleson. Although I am in my late 20’s I am not happy with some of the noise level and feel that it should be shut down at a certain time of night. This going on until LATE (past 10-11pm) is not needed. I have to work some mornings at 4am so to have to listen to this and not be able to sleep is a bunch of bull****.
Possible solutions: ear plugs, close windows, move somewhere that is not a city. Shutting down the entertainment corrider is not a very good way to become a destination is it? The majority stands behind us…
Maybe you, sir, should be sleeping… way out in the woods. This is a vibrant city with a lot going on. That is not quiet. It’s going to be loud, let’s get that out of the way. A concert destination usually has some noise, along with other noises. Will you be at SoulQuest? A Christian Social community event that will also be audible. Hope so… Cya there! What is good for a community is not always quiet and convenient for everyone but I will tell you this: It is awesome for the majority. You don’t silence that. 350+ days a year, you will have your sleep I’m sure. Stop (preaching) to us that are enjoying the change to this community. A change that has been positive. Amen…
Very very wordy review. Why all the wasted space? The reviewer didn’t attend the concert?
I was wondering if it was just my computer.
ages ranging from preschool to late 20’s WOW!
