PORT ORANGE, FLA. – Sharon Cade went home to be with the Lord, Jesus Christ Aug. 20, 2012. Her parents were Wilfred L. and Roxie A. (Miller) Condon, and she was born Dec. 12, 1942, in Dixmont.
She was predeceased by her husband, “Jim” Cade; her daughter, Sandra Milliken; her brothers, Steven R. Condon and Walter F. Condon; and her sister, Ruth K. Condon. She leaves behind her caring memory to her children, Dennis Milliken of Port Orange, Fla., Timothy Milliken and Betty of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Ralph “Butch” Costner Jr. of Port Orange, Fla. She also leaves behind a special friend, who was like a godson, Timothy “Modi” Sylvester of Port Orange, Fla. She is also survived by her sister, Marjorie Cummings of East Dixmont; her brother, Richard Condon of Torrington, Conn.; and several nieces and nephews.
Sharon was known for being a nurturing soul to her children. She was a supporter and encourager to those with developmental disabilities. She loved being a member of and participating in church life at First Baptist Church, Daytona Beach, Fla. Her presence of calm and source of being an anchor will be missed by her children and “godson.”
A celebration of Sharon’s life and memory will take place 11 a.m. Sept. 16 at First Baptist Church, Daytona Beach, Fla., fourth floor of the main building, immediately after the worship service.
