PORTLAND, Maine — Portland police arrested a 38-year-old man after he threw a brick through the front entrance to the police department.

Around 8:30 p.m. Saturday night, Jeffrey Nason walked into the police department lobby complaining that someone outside was “accosting” him about his New York Yankees hat, according to Lt. Robert Doherty.

After he left the building a few minutes later, he threw a brick through a glass door, according to police. Doherty said the police report didn’t indicate why Nason threw the brick.

Nason was arrested and charged with aggravated criminal mischief. He was taken to Cumberland County Jail.

  1. Bath salts paranoia? I’m surprised he wasn’t having bricks thrown at him! I made sure I didn’t wear my Sox cap to St. Louis yesterday!

  2. He probably threw a strike with the brick! Thats one more strike than all of Red Sox pitching all season!
