OAKLAND, Maine — T-Mobile USA says it’s planning to hire more than 100 new full-time employees in Maine by the end of the year.
The jobs include customer service and sales representatives who will be located at the T-Mobile call center in Oakland.
T-Mobile spokeswoman Patty Raz said the workforce expansion is necessary because of increased call volumes. The company is holding a job fair on Thursday at the call center.
Raz said the call center now has more than 400 employees.
The Morning Sentinel says a report from the governor’s office in 2011 showed the call center had 781 workers in 2010.

More jobs for Maine good deal.
LePage supporters claiming job creation and Maine is a great state because without him this wouldn’t happen in 3…2….1…..
dead on LePig will take credit
They have lost almost 400 jobs in the last 2 years and are hiring back only 100… This means they are still almost 300 below where they were as of 2 years ago…
However, I am glad to hear they are hiring back. They are a good company to work for and it is a very nice facility there.
They go through employees like I drink water.
